Assaf Salim is the founder and executive leader of numerous business ventures. He has managed operations at Regalitos, an appliance and merchandise retailer, since 1985. In 1999, Assaf Salim established the auto retailer Automarcas de Occidente. In this position, he represents and sells a range of internationally recognized brands, including Mercedes-Benz, Nissan, BMW, and Toyota. He expanded his business operations by establishing the private aviation company Air Alas de America in 2018 and Salim Group Investment, a construction project business group, in 2020.
Previously, Assaf Salim held positions including executive president of Venezolana de Aviacion and chief executive officer of Disa Import and Export Corp. He has also founded and operated ND Import and Export Corp, LLC, an import and export business specializing in home appliances, industrial equipment, and general spare parts.
Academically, Assaf Salim studied business administration at Rafael Urdaneta University. He subsequently earned his graduate degree in international finance from Rafael Urdaneta, with an emphasis on strategic leadership and business vision. Apart from his various business activities, he enjoys staying physically active by skiing and playing tennis.
